The Corner Café is a student-operated venture as an extension of the Hospitality Management Program at Lanier College and Career Academy.

Students/employees not only learn the importance of Soft-skills and Customer Service in such a way as to build repeat business – but they also learn how to operate different machines and equipment such as expresso machines, coffee and tea machines, coffee grinder, ovens, and point of sales registers. 

Students gain valuable knowledge and experience in a hospitality related business working as an employee a nd as an owner/operator. They are exposed to aspects of a business such as menu selection, food cost, fixed and variable expenses, and making a profit.
