Where are you located?
We’re conveniently located just off Exit 17 on 985 at Lanier College & Career Academy in The Oaks Building. We’re in the Oakwood area along Atlanta Hwy near UNG’s Gaineville Campus and Elachee Nature Center. 2719 Tumbling Creek Rd Gainesville, GA 30504

What days/times are you open?The Oaks Building is open during school days from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The building is also open outside of those dates/times for scheduled events in the evenings, weekends, and school holidays. We recommend scheduling a time to meet in person via email or phone call.

How do I rent/reserve a room for my event?
You may email us at meetingsandevents@hallco.org or call us at 770-532-3161 x10169 to rent a space or arrange a time to come meet with the Meetings & Events manager, Scheree Dill, in person.

How much do the rooms cost?
Pricing is based on multiple factors including room size and duration of an event. Check out our pricing information HERE .

How big are the rooms? How many rooms are there?
We have multiple spaces available that can accommodate different capacities. Check out our room and facility information HERE .

How far in advance should I book my event?We recommend contacting us 3 months in advance, especially for larger events. We can book an event up to 9 months in advance. However, you may contact us as late as 2 weeks prior to your preferred event date to check our availability.

Do you offer discounts for non-profits, school employees, or government groups?We do not offer any discounts at this time. As we are owned and operated by the Hall County School District, we’re a nonprofit and strive to keep our rates as low as possible.

How many hours can a room be rented?We rent our rooms out by the hour. The minimum rental time is 4 hours, a half-day. Full-days are 8 hours. You may add additional hours onto a half-day or full-day for our hourly rate. Rooms can be rented between the hours of 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Can we have our event catered?Yes! Meetings & Events does not currently offer in-house catering, however, you’re welcome to bring in your own outside catering.

Can we come early to setup?You may arrive 15 minutes prior to your event time to setup.

When is final payment due?Final payment is due 10 days prior to the event.

What should we bring?
All room rentals include digital signage, a lectern with microphone, a Dell laptop with wireless capabilities, free Wi-Fi, and a ceiling-mounted projector and screen. Click HERE to view other options available to rent such as plates and tablecloths.

You’re responsible for providing any items not included in the list above that you would like to have for your event. We need to know 2 weeks prior to your event if you wish to rent any of our additional items linked above.

Do you offer storage space or kitchen-use?
No. If you need storage space, you would need to rent an additional room. Use of the kitchen is not allowed under any circumstances.

Are smoking or alcoholic beverages allowed?No, smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the property.
